Ride Description: Forestry and tracks, very little roadwork, though some of the forest tracks may be hard. less than 5% roadwork.
EGB's South West Group are pleased to announce a brand new training opportunity for 2023. The training is aimed at any rider who is currently riding in pleasure rides & aims to progress to compete at novice graded level but all members are welcome to ride the route.
On request, we will buddy you up with an advanced rider to accompany you around the PR route, giving hints & tips along the way if requested (on entry). Please indicate when signing up if you wish to have a buddy to accompany you.
The training will take place and run like a Pleasure Ride but with the opportunity to have your horse vetted. Please indicate when signing up if you wish to have your horse vetted.
At the end of the ride help & advice will be given on how to cool your horse & prepare for a vetting. Training will also be available for the participating riders' crew.
If you are an advanced rider and would be happy to be a buddy to another rider, then please indicate this when signing up.
