Welcome to Endurance GB South West

An annual competition. The underlying concept is to produce teams with a balanced cross section of members and participants from within the regions giving riders at all levels experience within a South West Team environment.  The younger and more novice members especially gain a unique insight into the world of competitive Endurance Riding within a protected, secure competition where they can benefit from the support and encouragement of the Chef D/Equipe and the more experienced Team members. The event usually takes place over two days, longer Endurance Rides on the first day and shorter CR’s on the second [so that Team Members can support each other and novices can learn from the more experienced.] For 2011 the rides will require 2 rider/horse combinations for each of the following classes:

On Saturday 13th August 2011 (DAY 1) for Open/Advanced Combinations

IR-Class 1   100km Endurance Ride

IR-Class 2   80km Endurance Ride

IR-Class 3   65km CR

IR-Class 4   80km CR (40/40km over 2 days)                                   

On Sunday 14th August 2011 (DAY 2) for Open/Advanced Combinations

IR-Class 4   80km CR (40/40km over 2 days)

IR-Class 5   40km CR (Novice)

IR-Class 6   32km CR (Novice)

PLUS - 2 WILD CARD ENTRIES

Please use pre-fix IR-Class .. on your Entry form and Vet Sheet!

*** Each team should include 3 young riders or juniors.

South West Team entry fees and compulsory team branding will be paid by Endurance GB – South West Group.
