Andrew Chisholm takes over Health and Safety and Val Swann becomes Chairman of the Rides and Rules Committee. Nikki Routledge takes on PR Chairman. This is not a complete list of the offices but that will be published imminently. Pat Conn and Paul Silk (SERC) make up the full contingent. Many thanks go to Yvonne Clark, Caroline Cherry, Martin Moore and Sally Flatman who unfortunately were not elected this time |

Congratulations to Carri-Ann Dark, just back from Oviedo in Spain with the Young Riders Team, riding in the European Team Endurance Championships. She was part of a 5 strong team - Kay Counter on Cheeky Charlie, Carri-Anne Dark on Elmstead's Poloistique, Beth Langley on HS Ametista, Sarah Rogerson on Gryphon and Abbi Tennant on Chador. The team came 4th overall and this was the best result the Young Riders have had in a Major Championship for some years[they were fifth of the European Nations in the last World Championship] particularly as they were very close to challenging for medals this time out . The team are determined to improve on it again in the World Championships next year in Hungary. Carri-Ann started her endurance career here in the South West, so we are all especially interested in how she got on! |

RED DRAGON - brief results for SW riders...... (to be confirmed) No SW finishers in the Red Dragon 160k Also congratulations are due to Abby Chisholm (13) who has just competed her first 80k CR at the Red Dragon Ride in appalling weather conditions on brilliant pony Scarlet, who will be going back to her owners Tristan and Sarah Bishop for their youngest daughter Saffron to start her career in endurance, and she will be much missed by Tess and Abby - thanks to you all for letting us have Scarlet for the last 2 years, she has been a joy to look after. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Well done to Young Riders Ben Joppe, achieving his first 64k ride at Carn Marth Ride, and Shannon Smith for acheiving her 64k at Hound Tor Ride.
