Welcome to Endurance GB South West

The Breamore Ride at Tenantry Farm on 15th and 16th October 2011 is to host the finals of an exciting new competition open to members of the four groups with a border to the south coast, namely – South West, Wessex, Mid South, and South East.

There will be a finals class to suit everyone from ER specialists to complete Newcomers, the idea being to give everyone something competitive to aim for which is achievable by the majority. The Finals CR classes will be judged on the Rufus System (as will ALL classes at Breamore) allowing us to place everyone and award special rosettes and prizes to 6th. This will be in addition to the normal grades.

Details of the Rufus Scoring System are on the Wessex Group's Website (links here: Rufus Scoring Chart for Novices and Rufus Scoring Chart for Open and Advanced), but briefly this system complements the grading charts, awarding points for an optimum heart rate and speed.

When entering the appropriate classes at Breamore, competitors should enclose a photocopy of their Competitive Ride Master Card as proof of qualification. South West Team entry fees and compulsory team branding will be paid by Endurance GB – South West Group unless sponsorship can be found.

Criteria

The qualification chart details what is needed to be eligible for the Championship Finals, which will take place on the Saturday, but basically it involves successfully completing at least 3 nominated rides with a Grade 3 or above.
