This page is for our South West members who are on either the Senior Squad or the Senior Development Squads - we will be shortly getting a profile on them and their horses, plus details of their training, Squad training events and rides they are attending, plus any events being run to raise funds for the Squads to compete overseas.

Travel Fund for EGB SW members selected to ride in teams – eligibility requirements

  1. Must be full EGB South West members (can be resident outside Devon or Cornwall)
  2. Horse and rider must have been selected through correct EGB selection procedure.
  3. Event must be at least 100 miles away from their home (by road)
  4. Each rider limited up to £100 in British Isles per year, or £350 abroad.
  5. Money not to be paid until 24 hours before travelling, by BACS.
  6. Recipient must help at a future fund raising event for Travel Fund plus write an article and provide photos.
  7. All applicants must apply to the SW Committee in writing with supporting documentation (i.e copy of selection letter).  Funds will be granted subject to approval by the SW Committee.
