Preparation for Endurance Training Day

Limited numbers. Entry fee of £10.00 will include pasty lunch, endless tea / coffee and cakes so keep an eye out for updates!
An unmounted day suitable for current & prospective members of Endurance GB & their crews.
Presentations will be given by:
Ruth Varcoe, is a retired vet, who has extensive endurance knowledge on horse vetting for Endurance. Ruth will be demonstrating and teaching participants how to take a pulse, trot your horse and prepare for a vetting at an endurance ride.
Andrew Chisholm, is an endurance rider at Advanced level and previous rider organiser of many rides including The Golden Horseshoe Ride. Andrew will be showing and teaching you how to read a map for endurance rides!
John Hudson, is an endurance rider at Advanced level and a member of Endurance GB's IT Team. John will show you how to register as a member, enter a ride , upload vaccination documents and get to that first ride!
Norman Rundle will be delivering a talk on how to prepare your trailer for the season. Is your trailer ready for the season?
Dr Mike, is an A&E Emergency Trauma Doctor. He will explain how we are prepared for any accidents at rides and what kit you as a rider or crew member can carry to be prepared on ride day should an accident occur.
